About me
I am a Raleigh, NC native where I was born and raised, went to NC State, and have worked at some of the leading technology and healthcare organizations for the last 10 years. I am a leader in digital marketing and brand communications with experience leading various programs involving crafting brand voice, external messaging, and executing cross-functional and integrated campaigns.
When I’m not focused on scaling brand initiatives, you can find me teaching a yoga class (yes, I’m a certified sculpt instructor), or spending time with my 2 year old retriever, Brie!
My career:
I’m a digital and communications leader focused on shaping brand strategy, executive storytelling, and enterprise-wide engagement. While I started my career with a focus on field marketing, event marketing, and sales enablement, I have expanded my remit over the years to lead and manage digital and content strategies for leading brands. I’ve led the development and launch of global social media and advocacy programs, established brand and style standards, and built governance models that scale across organizations. My work spans executive communications, crisis planning and activation, editorial leadership, and inclusive communications strategies. Backed by deep knowledge of crisis communication, policy, organizational dynamics, and brand marketing, I drive clarity, consistency, and impact across digital channels.
My education:
While working full-time, I was able to successfully pursue and graduate with my Masters in Communication from North Carolina State University. During my time in the Masters Program, I took courses from both the Communication department and the MBA department in brand and product marketing, communication campaigns, crisis communication, interpersonal communication, organizational conflict management, and communication and technology.
I completed my Bachelors of Communication at North Carolina State as well, where I became an expert in all things Media Communication (media history and theory, media writing, public speaking, technology in society and culture, and more).
